I've been doing some thinking and a little cleaning in my sewing room the past few days. If anyone is aware of a quilter on the east coast of the USA that was affected by those terrible storms just weeks ago and might have lost a part or all of their quilting equipment - would you be so kind as to share their information with me either in the comments section or privately email me at sewunique7@aol.com
It is the season for giving and I really am blessed to have an abundance of quilting supplies and I would really enjoy sharing with a quilter who might have lost everything and give them a little hope and perhaps a way to start over.
(please note - the above photos where borrowed from a google search and are not the actual items I will be sending)
Thank you!

There should be more people like you.

What a wonderful idea! Have you heard of The Sewing Machine Project? www.thesewingmachineproject.org I have been helping them. It feels wonderful!
That's a sweet idea..very nice!
I think that is a wonderful idea, we all have things that we don't use or need and there are others who do. Let me know if you find out who needs things and maybe we can all do something to help.

That is so thoughtful and generous. I'm sure any quilter would love to have their supplies/or part of, restored.
That's a great thought. Friends of mine & I cleaned out our duplicate and unwanted patterns and gave them to a no kill cat shelter Paws and Whiskers in Toledo, Oh. They auctioned the items off for the shelter. Every little bit helps.

What a great idea, I think we can all reap the rewards of paying forward. Thanks for the reminder, it is afterall the season of giving.
