Look at this cute project! Love it!
The Moda Bake Shop folks shared this delightful free pattern on the blog not too long ago and I think it's just the cutest, quick project to make up to add a splash of color to any room in your home!
Look at that sparkly fabric! I love the added glitz to this project. I was thinking though ---there I go again thinking, it gets me in trouble sometimes..... Anyhow - this could easily be done as a wool applique project also. Use some of the wool fabrics you may have and add some fancy stitching around the edges of the Christmas tree in a stand out color of embroidery floss to add a little bling!

Here's the backside view of the pillow. I love pillows like this because you can easily make a pillow form that will fit this size pillow. Then easily switch out this Christmas themed pillow for maybe a Snowman you could make later on, or an Easter Bunny for Spring, Pumpkins, and Leaves for the Fall Season. Oh, the ideas are just endless. Let your mind wander for just a little bit with this.
Be creative. Sit down and enjoy making this pillow. Then pull out a good old pencil and paper and draw out some other shapes and make up a few more pillows to change for the seasons!
