The quilt shown above is called: Cutoffs.  I love the pattern in this quilt - the secondary design is awesome!  What a fun scrappy quilt to make!  It's on my list!

My next favorite is this sweetie above:  Spinners!  Another great scrappy style quilt! I like the way the fabric choices play against the white background!  Pure eye-candy!

Kansas City Star Booth at Quilt Market

Busy day ahead for me - got some baking to do and then off to spend time with family & friends!

Here are the photos I took in the Kansas City Star booth at 2013 Spring Quilt Market.  I didn't bring my good camera with because it's a bit annoying to lug around sometimes, so these are Iphone pictures - of which I am not the best at taking!  So please forgive little ole' me!

Found another good quilt book last week:

I do believe I've found myself a couple more quilts added to my "to do" list after looking through this book!!!

The Blue and The Gray - New Quilt Book

This book that I received last week has me drooling!  The Blue and the Gray: Quilt Patterns using Civil War Fabrics by Mary Etherington and Connie Tesene who are the owners of Country Threads Quilt Shop in Garner, Iowa.

This book is jam packed with great scrappy projects.  Each of them makes me want to dive right into my scrap bin and start - - - yet another project!  LOL

Anyhow - here are photos from the book that might just have you running to your local quilt shop to get your own copy!

Oh Dear Betsy, You've Done It Again

Oh dear Miss Betsy Chutchian - you have gone and written another fabulous quilt book!  I just love it!  I have to make everything in this book - if I can figure out a way to add more hours to my day!

This is Betsy's newest book, Lizzie's Legacy and it is worth it to purchase and have in your quilting library.
