Blog Hop - New Quilting Book - Giveaway Time!


We are blog hopping to celebrate the newest arrival from Kathy Brown of The Teacher's Pet!  Her new quilting book Fat Quarter Quickies has just released from Martingale and what a goodie it is!

I was supposed to choose just one favorite - but sorry folks - I have two favorites!  Figures, I couldn't narrow it down to just one! Now pay attention here - as you view the photos of the quilt patterns that are included in this new book - you will also have to choose a favorite.  Pick your favorite quilt and leave a comment to be entered in the drawing for a free "Ebook" copy of this book!  Cool!

Here are my 2 favorites -

The quilt shown above is called: Cutoffs.  I love the pattern in this quilt - the secondary design is awesome!  What a fun scrappy quilt to make!  It's on my list!

My next favorite is this sweetie above:  Spinners!  Another great scrappy style quilt! I like the way the fabric choices play against the white background!  Pure eye-candy!

    Really pretty quilts in this book. I would have to say one of my top picks is Cutoff. Love the colors in the Caribbean Cooler. Thanks for the great giveaway.

    Supponsibilities is my favorite. I like to make rail fence so this fits the bill. All of the quilts are fun.

    I was lucky to see them in Mandeville this past weekend.
    Caribbean Cooler has fabrics that grab you, but I really liked Sail Away the most. The quilting is really beautiful too.

    What a fun ebook to win. Lots of exciting fat quarter quickies. I really like the Feast and Fireplace. I have a fat quarter stash that needs me to make a dent in it and this book would be the answer. Thank you for the chance to win and sharing all of the wonderful eye candy with all of us. Just makes me want to really win Fat Quarter Quickies and start quilting now.

    I'm loving ebook copies of these types of books! I always have the book with me for fabric amounts! Cut offs would have to be my favorite. But I do love all of them!

    I love Cutoffs and is the one I would make. But Spinners is very striking. All the quilts are great inspiration for the boxes of fat quarters I have. Hope, hope, hope I win!!! Thank you for a wonderful give-away!

    I saw these quilts up-close this past weekend and I agree that Cut Off is outstanding! The quilting really compliments the open space. (i also love the fabric selection on that one.)
